In-game achievements are awarded for completing certain tasks. They reward you with F.U.P.s, which have no practical use. Note that not all of the achievements can be earned in one game. Since the game does not have save slots and your progress is saved on the server side, the only way to get achievements that are class-specific or ones that require you to complete tasks as each of the different classes, you will have to quit ("Drop-out" on the news/login screen) and start a new game for each class change. Your achievement progress will be carried from game to game, but your quest and character level progress will be reset. According to Simutronics, there are no current plans to add save slot-type switching as it would break the core of the game functionality. More achievements will be added as new content is released, but they expect that few will continually reset their game for the sake of the achievements that are there just for fun.
